At Happy Pets Veterinary Center, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians in Santa Clarita and the surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. This all starts with a warm hello for you and a yummy treat for your pet.

Our hospital opened its doors in 2007 and offers a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs and cats. We’re located at 19315 Plum Canyon Rd. #C in Santa Clarita, and we have ample space for parking within a safe, low traffic area for your pet.

Our patients are primarily cats and dogs. Happy Pets Veterinary Center proudly also offers Alternative Therapies, such as acupuncture, pet certified chiropractic, homeopathy, Chinese herbal medicines and laser pain management using a state-of-the-art Class IV medical laser.​​​​​​​

Dr. Evelyn Vega

Medical Director

A native Californian (with the exception of the four years she lived in Indiana to get her medical doctorate at Purdue University), Dr. Evelyn Vega has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Santa Clarita Valley since July 2000.

In addition to Purdue, Dr. Vega has also attended Loyola Marymount University and Cal State Los Angeles, where she completed her Masters in Biology.

Prior to starting her own practice, Dr. Vega has worked with many animal hospitals in the area, including several years at VIP Veterinary.

She has also run her own in-home mobile veterinary service (Happy Pets Mobile Veterinary), performing veterinary house calls from Santa Clarita to Palmdale for over five years.

In a reader’s poll, Santa Clarita Living Magazine named Dr. Vega Best Veterinarian.

She is a past member of the local Soroptimist charity group and a member of N.R.G. (Network Referral Group of Santa Clarita) since 2001. She is also a member of various veterinary organizations.

Dr. Vega lives in Saugus with her husband John, their two dogs Winston Churchill and Coco Butter, their two cats Madame Leota and Cali, a rabbit named Aldo and an assortment of pond turtles and fish.


Dr. Adrienne Verayo

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Adrienne Verayo earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2014 from Western University of Health Sciences, following an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from the University of Southern California. Her unique ability to intuitively connect with animals and sense their needs drove her passion for veterinary care. What Dr. Verayo finds most fulfilling about her profession is the opportunity to treat pets who hold an irreplaceable place in their owners’ lives, offering compassionate care and expert guidance.
 

Dr.Verayo’s professional interests include preventative medicine, dentistry, and feline medicine. She aspires to attain certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in feline practice, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in caring for our feline companions.

Beyond her practice, Dr.Verayo enjoys cherished moments with her family, including her husband, daughter, and their beloved 2-year-old Goldendoodle, Snuggles. She has diverse hobbies, from mastering golf to indulging in her favorite activities like snowboarding, dancing, and volleyball. She looks forward to meeting you and your pet!

Dr. Caitlin Seeley

Associate Veterinarian

Caitlin Seeley, also known as Cate, is a passionate veterinarian with a deep love for animals. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2010, following her undergraduate studies in Biology at Occidental College in 2005.

Since childhood, Dr. Seeley has aspired to be a veterinarian, driven by her desire to help animals and make a difference in their lives. As a DVM, she finds great fulfillment in establishing meaningful relationships with her patients and witnessing their growth and well-being. Her specific interests lie in general medicine, internal medicine, and physical therapy within the field of veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Seeley enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horse, scrapbooking, and reading. She is a proud owner of two dogs, Alfred (an 11-year-old Chiweenie) and Pongo (a 2-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever), as well as a beloved 28-year-old Quarter Horse named Joe.

Caitlin is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), staying updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
