At Happy Pets Veterinary Center, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians in Valencia and the surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. This all starts with a warm hello for you and a yummy treat for your pet.

Our hospital opened its doors in 2007 and offers a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs and cats. We’re located at 27550 Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia, and we have ample space for parking within a safe, low traffic area for your pet.

Our patients are primarily cats and dogs. Dr. Evelyn Vega proudly also offers Alternative Therapies, such as acupuncture, pet certified chiropractic, homeopathy, Chinese herbal medicines and laser pain management using a state-of-the-art Class IV medical laser.

Our Services

“I have taken several of my 4 legged family members to them for the following reasons: 1. Their professional and expertise in animal medicine 2. How they actually care for their patients (my family) and 3. Their advice and how they address any health issues of my kids. I recommend them to anyone who wants quality care of their loved pets.” – B. A.

What To Expect

Veterinary services delivered with courtesy and respect!

As a new client of HAPPY PETS, you can expect our full attention to your pet’s needs.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we’ll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet.

In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

One of our veterinarians will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.

Our veterinary technician will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness and care questions you may have. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

We are excited to meet you and your pets!
