Dr. Jane Kelly was born and raised in northern New Jersey where she attended Rutgers University and received a bachelor's degree in animal science. During that time she volunteered at a local wildlife rehabilitation center nursing wildlife and at the New York Aquarium caring for seals and sea lions.
Dr. Kelly moved to moved to California to attend veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences during which she completed an externship in alternative medicine. After graduation, she completed a one year small animal rotating internship at Animal Emergency Medical Center in Torrance, Ca focusing on emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and surgery.
Dr. Kelly currently lives in Glendale with her partner Abhi and their two cats Papaya and Lilu. She enjoys yoga, cooking healthy food, and painting in her free time.
